It really depends what virus you got on Facebook.  The easiest way to find out which one you have is to copy the subject line of the Facebook message that you clicked on and search for it on Google or some other search engine.  If it&#039;s &quot;koobface&quot; then run a virus scan.

Also change your password.

Look at our computer security post too.  It has our current favorite, and free, anti-virus/malware/adware/etc. tools do use too.  Bit Defender online scanner is always a good start.

Yahoo answers also has an ok list of how to control it but it&#039;s a bit over the top http://tiny.cc/fZi65
