Why are we here?: Vision
Well thanks for asking. We are here to help you out… just because we like you. Well, actually it is bigger than that. We think the Internet has a problem, we think kids have a problem and we think you have a problem. The problem is this… lack of balance on all sides.
We like balance and we want to bring that balance to your Internet based world. We don’t want you to “unplug that stupid computer once and for all” nor do we think it is good to let your kids have free reign of the Internet. We want to strike a balance. That is where education comes in. We educate you and now you can make more decisions based on good knowledge instead of fear or apathy.
Sound good? We think so. So again you ask, “why are you here”. Very simple really… We are here to change the world. One parent, one student, & one computer at a time.
So, please join us in our vision by learning, asking and acting. And we thank you for your help in advance.
Our Drive: Motivation
Today’s parents are at a technological disadvantage to their kids. They have wisdom of the years to effectively parent with but often lack the technological aptitude of their kids.
NPLB seeks to level the playing field by providing parents with quick, pertinent, and easy to understand tech info (and skills) that will give parents the tools, skills, and knowledge that they need to help their children NOW.
The Nitty Gritty: Purpose
No Parent Left Behind Cafe was started in 2007, as an extension of Playin’ With Fire, as a way to get simple, concise and effective information to parents about how to protect your online assets (kids, computers, & info).
Our goal continues to be to inform you in the simplest way about what you need to know to parent in this rapidly changing world of technology.
To that end we have created 3 different ways for you to learn:
- Read the articles as they are written and learn.
- Watch the Tutorials posted on various tech topics.
- Buy the bundle and get it all. How to buy
- When you purchase the video bundles you get access to all of the archived articles, all the tutorials and the topic oriented video so that you can get up going NOW.
